Characteristics 

 

Timor-Leste has 13 Municipalities, 65 City Councils, and 442 Villages. The characteristics among 13 Municipalities are slighlty different in term of the geographcial locations and the uniquness of the cultural charateristic. The framwork will include two Regional Development corridors, the northen corridor development and the southern corridor development as well as a number of special zones designed go quide development based upon the specific characteristics of certain regions (National Strategy Plan for Timor-Leste 2011-2030). Therefore, the Tourism Development Planning for Timor-Leste should be considered this issue as one of the main inidicator to design properly tourism development.
